Pakistan Textile City Limited (PTCL), with a gross area of about 1250 acres is located at Port Qasim Karachi. PTCL has decided to undertake, parallel to the other infrastructure facilities, the construction of a Combined Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) and Solid Waste Management, for the industrial city, at an already allocated site. The treatment capacity of plant is around 84,000 m3/day. The proposed Combined Effluent Treatment Plant Site with an area of 24 acres is designated within the estate.
