Sundar Industrial Estate (SIE), a project of Punjab Industrial Estates (PIE) Development and Management Company, with a gross area of about 540 hectares, is located at a travel distance of about 26 kilometers, from Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore. Presently different infrastructure facilities including roads, water supply works and sewerage and drainage works are being constructed at SIE. All the industrial plots have already been allotted to the applicant industries. PIE has decided to undertake, parallel to the other infrastructure facilities, the construction of a Combined Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), for the estate, at an already allocated site, located in the south of the estate. The treatment capacity of plant is around 200,000 m3/day [200 MLD]
