Combined Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) for Sundar
Industrial Estate
Treatment capacity 150,000 m3/day. Sundar Industrial Estate is
newly developed industrial estate with a gross area of about 540
hectares, is located at a travel distance of about 26 km, from
Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore. All the industrial plots have already
been allotted to the applicant industries. PIE has decided to
undertake, parallel to the other infrastructure facilities, the
construction of a Combined Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP), for
the estate, at an already allocated site, located in the south
of the estate.
Wastewater Treatment Plant for Akhtar Textile Industries
Treatment capacity 500 m3/day. Aerobic Treatment technology with
post chemical oxidation and process scheme include
coagulation-flocculation, sedimentation tank, Aeration basin,
sludge thickener and sludge drying. Secondary treatment facility
is in construction phase

Treatment capacity 225 m3/day. Physico-chemical Treatment with
coagulation flocculation followed by sedimentation and
filtration. Sludge treatment includes thickening and drying.
