NEC provides specialized
services in the field of environmental management, planning and
engineering. In pursuit of sustainable development, NEC advocates for a
consultative approach in improving the quality of environment. In addition
to provision of consultancy services related to the more traditional field
of water treatment, wastewater treatment, solid waste management, NEC has
develop technological solutions to more recent environmental issues
relating to air pollution abatement, noise pollution control, and soil
contamination prevention.
NEC also offers technical assistance to different environmental sectors in
the form of Initial Environmental Evaluation (IEE), Environmental Impact
Assessment (EIA), Environmental Audits (EA) and Environmental Training.
